GM Delco single CD 'ERR' fix
The fix is to replace the CD player unit inside of the radio. I'm sure you could have figured that out but I assumed that it would just be much cheaper to replace the radio rather than repair. Then I came across this site that has the CD unit for just $22.50 shipped! https://replacementradios.com/gm-200...213438f26265c7
I wanted to pass this on to anyone with an inop indash CD but otherwise working radio.
Note: The above should work for later models, I have a '03 with bose, they made some internal changes to the radio around MY 2000 I think so the CD unit might be different on the earlier C5s Other units are available for not much more just match up yours to the pictures.
