Hello. I just purchased a project 2002 Corvette and wanted some advice on new rotors and pads. I am trying to do the restoration/rebuilt on a budget and will use the car for weekend drives when finished (no racing or track use). Does anyone have advice on a good set of budget rotors/pads? Thanks!
Thanks for the information. There is a set of Brakemotive cross-drilled/slotted, zinc plated rotors and ceramic pads on Ebay for $142 shipped. That seems like a pretty good deal. Has anyone had any experience with those? Thanks again for all of the help/advice.

I have used these on my C5 and several trucks without any issues at all. They look nice and the coating has held up for 6 or 7 years on my C5 without discoloring or rusting. Will definitely use them again when the need arises.

I along with hundreds, if not thousands of C5 owners have used that kit. It can't be beat for the money and for what you want to use them for!
Those rotors and pads should work for street use. But it also would be a good idea to get new flex hoses and do a fluid flush using a good grade of DOT3 fluid.
