I would love for everyone on this thread to post their mods so we all can critique the same. Lol.

I think the point is the OP asked for the forums opinions and that’s kind of a dangerous thing on any forum. It’s a Nay for me but that’s just my tastes.

NAY.

If they were free......still NAY.

If they came shipped with a $10 dollar bill....I would throw them away and buy myself lunch with the $10.

Not something I would install on a car, but if you like it, that's all that counts.

Know what those COULD be good for? Put them under the nose for those who are sensitive to scratches and use as a pre-scratch warning system.

So it appears if I express an opinion that is different than yours my comment is negative? Common sense is considered grouchy? I agree mods are subjective. I'll list my current mods below:

Nay for sure, but it's your car and you should do whatever you like to it. The only time I see vortex generator is on imports, mostly WRX's and such with young white or asian kids driving them which is fine, but also looks kinda tacky, like vehicles that have every known add-on imaginable, lol. Like I said if you like them that's all that matters, just don't believe they actually do anything like improve aerodynamics or make the car faster in any way.

i know you have no mods. I appreciate that your car is 100% stock. You mocked the hell out of me for installing a corsa exhaust, remember? Lol. I would say this forum is mostly made up of people that mod their car and use aftermarket parts, which begs the question, why you here!? I’m curious what you are going to do in the near future as a lot of oem c5 parts are being discontinued by gm. Cheers mate.

Thanks for asking. I have given and received useful maintenance information related to my C5 which is my eighth Corvette. When parts become unavailable I will likely own a C7 or C8.
By the way I have Hankook tires and a Walmart battery (not OEM)

I’ve heard great things about both of those mods, Daryl. Glad to see you’re softening up on this forum. Never hurts to spread some positivity amongst fellow vette owners. Awesome to hear you’re upgrading to a c8. They look amazing!

Its so subtle i don't have a problem with it compared to many other things i see. One thing i never do on any site I'm on is ask for an opinion on what i do to my car. If you did it you must like it and thats all that counts.

Yes, if you can run over 200mph on the track.
