I know Clint...but it took me 10 years to decide to get an MCM hood ...so i have plenty of time to research a spoiler...... you and Larry( lewislgZ06) have "guts"......i am basically a coward........
Some call it guts, but to be honesty frank it’s really;
I put mine on this past summer and like it. Materials-wise it is a quality piece. To me it is a nice little accent to my car, torch red, black wheels, and black accents.
I've had one on my car for about 6 months now. My car is black so it's a very subtle addition, but I like it. It's a lot heavier/more dense than I anticipated it being. If it weren't for the large price difference, I'd have chosen the taller one. They make 3 different models; the one you posted, the same design but taller, and one that's closer to a ZR1 style. I got the small one on ebay when they had a 15% off coupon, so it was about $75 or so. I wouldn't spend much more than that haha.
I did the same with the SLP spoiler. After painting and temporary installing it, I decided, IMHO, it did not fit the lines of the C5 . It now sits in the box it came from.
I did the same. I have a light colored car and I didn't like the extra seams. I may eventually have it molded on.
I bought one a good long while back since I had given up on finding a Caravaggio Spoiler quickly by that point anytime soon. As the spoiler was in transit to me, I got a good price on an already painted Caravaggio from the forum. Since I had the Spoiler King one, I set it on the car to check it out in person. Personally I think it fits the car pretty well, just wish it was a little wider around the car, but it's not as bad IMO as the Wicker Bill/ZR1 style spoiler with how short that one looks.
For me, it's Caravaggio>ACI>Spoiler King/SLP>C7 Race Spoiler/Nothing.
But especially for the cheap price, they're a good buy.
Hey Budget76. I’m thinking of gettin the same spoiler. And my car is silver too. Can u please post up a few pictures of yours from different angles so I can get a good look at it installed please. Thx brother
I got one of the spoiler king pre-painted ebay spoilers - like 250 delivered . No drill, simply used the VHB tape (Very high bond tape) it came with and a line of silicone adhesive. I like mine, I think on the silver car it finishes the rear end in a subtle way.

Do you have a link to the eBay item? I couldn't find the one that looks like yours. Either they don't have the cut out section, or they have a smaller cut out, or they stick up higher, or offered in prime only. Even if it is to your closed item that helps find what may be offered today
They have a couple different versions, I basically chose this one because it came pre-painted. I should take some more photos, I was extremely happy with the quality of the paint and finish.
My one extremely minor complaint (and this is getting really nit-picky) is that if you look at the front of the spoiler when it is installed, there is a tiny gap (about 1/32") for a small portion (maybe 1/2" long?). I think this is actually because when I pushed the spoiler down, I started at the ends and then pushed towards the center. If anything I should have pushed the center down first, and that way the spoiler could flex easier to take up the gaps.
Either way, I'm extremely happy with the purchase and installation process.
