Exhaust Enhancer Plate
Hello All,
I finally made the jump and bought my first Vette!! She's a 2000, Millennium Yellow and I love her! Ha! My Dad had a couple earlier Stingrays but this is my first venture into anything later than a C3. So question for those who may know, mine has an enhancer plate between the exhaust that's stamped "Millennium 2000" and says "0249 of 1000". Is that significant to my car or just something someone put on once? I did some research and it looks like more than 1000 of my specifically equipped car were produced. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

I hadn't either, even thought it might be something that someone had custom made at some point, then I just happened to see another one while driving in Oregon last weekend (couldn't see the numbers but the design was identical) Doesn't mean it isn't custom made but figured I would at least ask around.

Definitely not a factory piece or special edition thing. Probably some dealer add-on thing.
I'm not a fan of the plates. There are enough logos on the cars already from the factory, to me. Love the yellow though - best color for sure!
