I actually finally joined the club . Introducing my new to me C5, 2002, 6 speed, about 57k miles, clean and no problems. It really is a beautiful car and this is the first true sports car I have owned, I'm fortunate to have it. I've actually had it about a month but I wanted to get it cleaned up a bit before I posted pics and I didn't want to get the 'this thread is worthless without pics' comment . So at least I got the road grime and tar off it. There was an inch if snow/ice falling outside while I was doing it so only crappy indoor pics for now.
It has OEM Z06 wheels on it which I really do like but I am not sure if the color goes well with Pewter? It deperately needs new front tires but I am planning to wait until spring to get them since it is now parked for the winter.
Congratulations on the new addition to your family. Looks like you have a Corsa exhaust on it also. I have a 2004 A4 Vert in Magnetic Red II with Oak Top and Interior. When I bought it, it had the C5 Z06 chrome rims and Corsa Sport Exhaust. Love them both.
Congratulations, definitely looks like a very clean car. I agree with Vetteman Jack, those stock rims look perfect with Pewter. It will certainly be tough to wait for the weather change when you have just purchased your first Vette. I remember when I sold my first one, a '98 coupe, and ordered my '03 50th Anniversary coupe. I went through a five month waiting period, Vetteless, and it drove me crazy. I continually ordered parts and accessories and stacked them in my garage, so I would have them available when my 03 was delivered in December. Good luck with your '02, and stay close to the forum, and don't hesitate to ask any question you need answers for. You will probably spend more time in the garage this winter than ever before, if nothing else just admiring your new ride. Enjoy!

Yes it does have a Corsa axle back on it. The set up on it needs to be adjusted, the tips are too close together and not straight. I haven't really looked at it yet but I think I may take it to an exhaust shop to be adjusted, seems like that may be a relatively inexpensive way to save myself some frustration.
Thanks for the supportive responses everyone. I'll get some entertainment out of it during the winter doing some engine compartment cleanup etc. It makes me happy every time I see it in the garage though I have a cover coming this week so no more just staring at it.
