Hey guys, I have a 2002 C5, and I just installed a double din. I am looking for anyone who is doing A Prefab Sub box for the middle compartment in the rear. I want to put a 10" sub and amp in there. thanks
JBL has a pre made box and sub, sounded good, I used up a pair of old Polks from another project and it kicks hard and sounds amazing paired with Focal 165 Separates
I have a convertible and finding a custom box to fit was tricky. I wanted to be able to put the lid back over it as well so it’d looked stock. We put the amp in the right cargo well next to the sub. Came out great and sounds great. The amp came with an external **** too which we ran into the drivers footwell near the tunnel do when the top is down I can crank up the bass so it still sounds good!
one note is depending on the grill and surround of the speaker you may need to modify your lid if you plan on using it. We had to notch the metal cross member.

I'm running a pair of Vettenuts corner mount 10" JL's. They end up taking up less room than the center mount because even with a grill you probably don't want to put stuff on top of your sub.
