HUD is "DIM"...
Although my HUD is right there, during the day I can barely see it.
Any ideas?

Not trying to a smart ***, but you know it's adjustable, right? Left side of the instrument cluster, slide switch.

And I'll add something else here. I have a 2004 I ordered and bought new. Only 11,000 miles now. So one day as I was driving it, I noticed the HUD wasn't working. With its low mileage, I didn't really think there could be a problem but who knows? I stopped to get gas. I figured when I restarted it, it may work again but it didn't. I drove on home. I began googling my problem and many said it was a bad HUD or this and that. I was about to call my dealer to get them to look at it when I came across one answer saying some polarized sunglasses will prevent you from seeing the HUD. So I went out to the garage and sat down in it and started it up. I had my sunglasses on top of my head. And guess what! The HUD was working. I dropped my sunglasses down on my face and no HUD!! Problem solved.

I know I was bound to have had some polarized sunglasses during all those years but apparently this kind just had the type to prevent it from showing thru them.

I just feel this is something which should always be mentioned when the HUD is a problem.
