Default AMSOIL Dominator Coolant Boost

Hello Guys, are you using the Amsoil Dominator coolant boost additive and how is it working for you? I would be adding it to the factory GM coolant/antifreeze.
Thanks in advance.

I don't use this or any other additives. What are you hoping to achieve by using this? A quick Google search shows this may provide just an 8-degree temperature drop when used in a street application. Are you having cooling issues?

Some track guys swear by Redline Water Wetter. I have a bottle I've never bothered to use. We did use it in a 997 and saw coolant Temps go down and oil Temps too, so it does seem to do as claimed.

don't know the product, but did use the red line water wetter mentioned above , after advice.from local car show on the radio. wouldn't have tried it at thirty bucks though. I used it in an old English car, so old it required inner tubes for the wire wheels, and it brought down the gauge water temps by about five degrees. English cars of that age sometimes struggled with cooling without the English climate, and with cars of that design age, cooler was always better. So I bought a bottle to see what would happen, I wasn't. expensive.

The vette is quite a bit more tightly engineered , mine was close to state of the art back in 03., lots of computer work went into engineering the thing. Changing the designed operating temperature for no good reason on that car would have no benefit, as has often been pointed out by those posters with the background to give an educated response. Other guys just like the comfort of the gauges mimicking the operating temps of older designs, despite the well known engine tests of the ls1 going 200,000 miles with stock operating temperatures.

Mine ran cooler on plain old mix of green prestone and water. Water wetter didnt do anything at all, most additives are wallet soakers. No magic bullet or the big 3 woulda done it already
