Torque tube length
What is the length of a C5 torque tube?
What is the length of a C6 torque tube?
Are they interchangeable?
I am researching a project and just looking for information at this time.

Basically, the C5 torque tube is 54 ½” and C6 torque tube length is 54 ¾” (2005-2008), and 55 ¾ (2009-2012).
There is a whole lot more info if you need it regarding changing sizes in the shaft diameter and TT couplers based upon C5 model year and whether the car is A4 or M6, too, but this hopefully gives you the basic info you need.

Thanks, just kicking around some ideas. I hadn't thought the C6 transmission might also be longer.
I am researching using all the parts from a C6 complete rolling chassis for a 2 wheel drive 1972 Blazer. Might not be possible within my budget. If I can even use most of the parts I think it would turn out nice!
