Z06 prices

The new Autoweek came out today. There is at least one 2001 Z06 advertized for $38,000.
per forum members, is this a good price, or are some even lower?

That is a fair price and you might be able to find one for less. But like anything else, condition and maintenance documentation are critical. You get what you pay for.

That's a good price for a unmoddified low milage '01 Z06.

Of course, the new '03 Z06 Vette are being discounted (4k to 5k) under MSRP right now.

I would say the high side of fair. I shopped heavily for a 2002 Z and ran into a lot of 01s. I even found one with 12k miles for $35k at a dealership!!!....very tempting but I was looking for 02s. Anyway, if the 2001 is your target, I think you can find one cheaper. And like someone said, condition/mileage and MTX history have to be considered.
