I’ve never seen this spoiler on a C5. I think there’s a good reason why.
That being said, it’s your car, and if you like it, that’s what’s most important.
That spoiler was on my car when I got it. I kinda like it.

It does mount with bolts so you really cant take it off once its there without replacing the rear.

thanks for the pictures! I have a FRC and I honestly think it would look really good with the small hatch. I’m going to purchase and see how it looks and see what I think. Thanks again.

Interestingly, I was recently thinking about swapping this spoiler out, but at track events at both Charlotte Motor Speedway and the NCM's Raceway Park, I mentioned changing it and had several owners tell me to keep it. No negative comments were made.
Of course, changing to another spoiler would require an experienced painter to exactly match the painted stripes on the current spoiler, so that is something that also may hinder my going to another style.
Bottom line.......on about any mod, you need to do what suits you. Some will think it is the right spoiler, some will think it was not the right spoiler, some will think you should do nothing but change the oil and not touch a thing.
That's the great thing about our forum; almost all will be upfront with their thoughts about changes you have in mind.
But, more especially, it you need to learn how to do almost any repair to your car, this forum has members who have "been there, done that" and can walk you through everything you need to know to make your repair!
