Hi,
Put her to sleep in Nov checked tire pressure yesterday and both rears at 18 psi. I hope don't have flat spots. I'll check weekly or Bi-Weekly
Any experiences?
Your tires should be fine. I always put in about 40 psi in my tires when I put her in storage to prevent flat spots. How old are your rears? The older they get it seems they can lose pressure more easily.
Hi,
I did have 40. Will pump them back up. The wheels are from a 06 and 18 front 19 rear. 285/35 Comp 2 19's. Ill check the date code . I found Generals for $200 a pop on Tire Rack and MAvis tire here in NNJ.

Next time you have those tires off, have the wheels thoroughly cleaned where the tire bead seals against the wheel. Aluminum wheels can corrode there, building up corrosion products which begin to interfere with the seal and cause a slow seep.
You might consider having the tires filled with Nitrogen, They say the molecules are larger and it is harder to escape. Of course 100% Nitrogen is only 22% more Nitrogen than air so it may be a myth. Costco sure pushes it though.... But if all the Oxygen escapes that would put you around 24-ish PSI so maybe.

Costco fills with nitrogen but doesn't charge extra for puttig it in your tires
The benefit of filling tires with nitrogen is not due to the size of N2 molecules vs O2 molecules, given that they are very similar in size. The benefit is that compressed nitrogen is much drier than compressed air, so you'll have less moisture in your tire. This mostly helps reduce pressure fluctuations due to changes in temperature, and can also reduce corrosion to some (probably negligible) extent.
These might not be "cheap", but they are made with a patented material to keep tires from flat-spotting while in storage- http://www.tirecradle.com/TireCradle...Locations.html
I own a set and value them as much as my Raceramps
There is NO difference filling with Nitrogen vs, just "air" which, you're breathing right now, being 78% Nitrogen. Dealers try to sell Nitrogen as a plus but it's pure BS...
I’ve had tires filled with nitrogen. I live in Michigan where we have some pretty big temp swings during the year. The tires filled with nitrogen has much less of a temperature swing the those on my other vehicles filled with regular compressed air. Its definitely not just a conspiracy.

"NASCAR - NASCAR teams use nitrogen because it allows them to more accurately predict tire pressure fluctuation. Nitrogen fluctuates with temperature change, but it does so less than when water vapor is present" As far as me using it , nope. The Corvette is not going a near constant high speed
