2003 Fuel Pump
Im suppose to look at a 2003 with 50K Miles to purchase, owner claims he just had the fuel pump replaced. I remember problems with fuel leaks in late 2003, should I avoid this sale or is there a way to inspect other then using my nose and looking for fuel? Should I fill the car with fuel? Id rather spend 50 bucks instead of a couple grand Im sure it would cost.

Yes, the RPO listing should have FFS listed if it is on the car.

Thanks I didn't see the FFS but I did smell gas. The car was also pretty rough. I walked away from the deal. Im going to look at a 2000 today. Thanks for the quick responses and help. I only knew to look so close at the fuel because of this site.
