Good luck with your new C5 and WELCOME to the Forum !!...great that you have a shop manual and have some tools...even though the car has a "built in" scan tool...more of just a code reader at best so if you can get your hands on a Tech 2 that will help you down the road should any driveability issues pop up...if you don't have a DVOM, 12 volt test light, a clamp on ammeter I would highly suggest you pick these tools up...good luck !!
