I chose daily driver since this is the only car in the house....but in reality it is a “ad-hoc driver” when I need...mostly the weekend for grocery shopping. ... for the rest we use public transports.

Although I chose "daily driver", I really alternate between using both of my supercharged C5s as daily drivers as well as fun week night and weekend cars. I am a member of half a dozen Facebook car groups, so I end up having to choose between various car meets, car shows, Point A to Point B cruises, and events at the track (mostly on weekends, but occasionally on weeknights). The sheer number of car events here in Southwest Florida (aided by year-round temperate weather) is almost overwhelming, but I'm grateful for it. I'm especially impressed by the number of young people around here purchasing and driving various generations of the Corvette!
wife has a 2000 coupe and a 2004 convertible . we have a tough time going through one tank of gas for each in a year . in fact , last year it was about a half tank in each . why do we have them ? i haven't a clue . . . .peace
No kidding I use mine pretty much just for the weekly dump run taking our recycling to the county collection point. The back holds a huge 36 gallon tub plus a bunch of smaller bags and tons of cardboard. People always comment on how much stuff I am able to carry. It fits way more cargo than my Porsche.
Pretty much used daily. 16,619 miles last year , 03 Truck got 5288 miles , 07 Suzuki Bandit got 4953 and '00 Kawa KLR650 got 496 miles for the year. But, back problems have me off the bikes since Nov of last year was the only reason the truck beat out the bike. And last week, the KLR went to a new home.
Mine is a weekend / fair weather car. My dad and a neighbor of mine have an informal Corvette club, and we cruise out into the mountains from time to time. I also like to keep it detailed. Tracking sounds fun, but that's where it turns from a reasonable interest into a money pit. I also have a boat (a heinous money pit) and collect firearms (tantamount to a drug addiction). You have to prioritize these things.
