Default Leather - Genuine vs Nappa?

Hi,

I need to replace the factory seat covers in my 04 coupe. I'm trying to decide between "genuine" leather and nappa leather. It's only $150, so cost isn't an issue. It's a daily driver so I want what will hold up and feel nice for the longest.

side question: What about perorations and Alcantara inserts? any advantage to either of those? I'm in AZ.

Thanks,
Chris

Leather will out last Napa and therefore, feel the nicest the longest. But, Napa will feel better at first

There is a chart in this listing: Picture three

Thanks. Odd because it also says Nappa then is the easiest to clean and maintain (which also adds to life right?).

I replaced the foam and seat skins with real leather from Vette Essentials who I heard is no longer in business. Been pleased with the product. Hope this helps with your decision.

The nappa leather is easier to clean because it has a fine "grain" pattern and is smoother, meaning fewer crevices/grooves for oil and dirt to be lodged in. If you use a VLB brush for cleaning, you'll have a better result, no matter which type of leather you choose.
