no joke.
I'm talking about unbolting the entire top from the windshield back. Its a parts shell, so I don't need it and I have a buyer. Just not sure what they go for?
Ask one of the corvette recyclers like Vettenuts. They’d probably be the best to know as they part out cars.
Nobody would do this to a perfectly good running FRC so that’s reason for the lack of results.
No I don't need the rest of the car. It's a parts car that I'm using the drivetrain only.
I realize it's a weird question, but I wanted to see if anyone has any ideas as to the value of the FRC/Z06 roof....??
Now that I know what you're doing, it's not such a weird question. I'm sure there is somebody out there (maybe not on the vette forum) who would use it for something. I've got a couple of friends who like to make "frankenstein" projects. 1949 chevy quad cab pickups, rear engine Jag roadsters, etc. Maybe even use it on a convertible vet. I would think the roof line is pretty close.
The OP is serious. At the shop we had a
customer who wanted a C5 ZO6 convertable.
We made it happen. In fact that same car is
in the shop now with a new owner. ( He wants
a blower)
Its not one of a kind but it's close.
