My questions might sound silly to some of you but is there a way I can put the top down on my C5 without the windows getting lowered? Our climate here is still rather cool and I want to keep the windows up because of my wife. (stop laughing) Second question. Is there a way the interior lights wont turn on every time I open the doors? I guess I can pull the fuse but I rather not. Thank you in advance for your help.
Thank you for your replies. I will try opening both doors in order to prevent windows going down and up. Pulling the bulb sounds like a good idea....thanks again.
at parking position, reach and Press the button to release the latch of tonneau cover and lower the windows. Pull up the windows and leave 1" from the top, open the top.
besides, it takes 20-40seconds to open the top, and I guess if you do it is because it is good weather. The windows should stay down/lowered while opening and closing to prevent catching the top while folding/unfolding, once the top is stored, you can indeed raise the windows up. It is much more confortable, by the way.
my 2 cents even if I am not really sure of the issue.
