I have the A4s in suede. I absolutely love them in my coupe and wish the car had come with them oem. The install is easy, and the only part which took time was some trial and error adding washers to get the most comfortable angle to the driver seat/rack. I plan to buy another set for the Z.
I have the Evo 10's in my vert they are great on a long trip. I would suggest that should you go with the Corbeau's that you lift the front of both seats for better thigh support, I used 1" spacers. By the way, I'm 6'1" 215 lbs.38-40 waist and these seats fit me like a glove.Good luck

Agreed. I have the fixed back Corbeau's and they are comfortable, but lack in the thigh support.
I have had the FX Pro's in my car for 5 years. I track six times a year. The support is great on the track but, the bottom cushion wears out in a few years. Easy to replace.
I find them very comfortable to DD. Not nine hours straight through though. You don't stop/stretch at all?

I can only speak to the A4, which I had and not the fixed models.
The A4 was a Middle Age torture device for me. I nearly sold my car because of them and ultimately sold them for a loss to go back to stock seats, which I foolishly sold. Are the stock seats amazing, no, but the Corbeaus were awful, and I'm not a big guy. I had the dual locking slider mounts and found the seat never fit dead straight in the car either, so it just never felt great to me. That being said, once I got some body heat in to them and they softened/contoured to my body they weren't as awful. I liked the support they gave, but for the first 15 minutes you got into the car, they were terrible. I stopped driving the car as often because of it.
I highly, HIGHLY recommend sitting in a set of whatever you ultimately choose. I didn't sit in a set before I got my seats and I knew the second I unboxed them they weren't for me, but my pride wouldn't let me return for the loss. Had I had a set to sit in back then, I would have kept the original seats and probably thrown the money into a cam when I did the harmonic balancer.
First of all, the A4 and Evo X are not race seats, they are reclinable sport seats. Race seats are fixed back.
That being said, I didn't see any one mention personal size and seat fit. I'm 6'0", 210 Lbs, I did not fit in the A4 or FX-1 Pro. If your a 34 waste, your good for the aforementioned seats, maybe a skinny 36. I'm a beefy 36 and I had to go to the middle size FX1. (FX1 Pro is narrow and fits in the C5 fine and the FX1 wide will not fit.
I was able to get the middle size FX1 into my C5 but it was an enormous PITA. I would never recommend others to do the same. HERE is my experience.
My Suggestion is to spend your money to upgrade / refurbish / Modify your current stock seat to suit your needs.
That being said, I've taken 5 hour trips in my FX1's, not sure I'd want to push that too much farther.
Stock Seats updated with new leather and bigger side bolsters. Better upper body support. Seat bottoms have a deeper pocket than what the picture shows. I have run the FX1 on track and it is very supportive, but not real comfortable for a long drive on the street.

I'm 5' 11" 190, 35" waist and I fit in my FX1 Pro's just fine.
I have the A4s in my coupe and I love them. I have had them for a few years now and I've driven 1,000 miles each way on trips to Vegas and they were comfortable for me. I am 5 7" and 230 at competition weight for powerlifitng. I had to pull the seat all the way up since I am not very tall. Try to find someone with the seats you want in their car and see how they feel to you. Compared to stock, the A4 is much better for controlling the car. Good support and no sliding around in corners. Good luck with your choice.
I'm 6'1" 190lbs with a Forza seat on dual locking slider. On longer trips I like to spread my legs and relax. When doing so my lower hips/upper thigh rests against the seat thigh support and can become uncomfortable since it can dig into your legs. This seats keeps your knees from being able to tough the door panel/center console and rest there.
I'd taken some padding out in that area but in reality I'd like to spread the seat wider but keep the hip width the same to maintain function of holding you snug. The Forza is a steel tube frame seat. Forza Sport is molded carbon fiber.
On race days for autocross I don't even notice any discomfort and like the seat especially for the price tag.
Carvaggo did the seats. I think they used the foam from the C5 sport seats and then add a bit more, You can see the extra pieces when the seats are upside down.

I totally agree With Mikeymcfly. I had the A4's for 6 years. Finally sold them and bought c6 seats a few years ago. I love the C6 seats really never like the Corbeaus

Sorry for bumping this thread but my wife and I drove over to MSgtrock's place, to check out his Corbeau A4 seats. I'm approximately 5'9" and 220lbs, with 36"-38" waist and 30" inseam. My wife is approximately 5'5" and 140lbs. We both really liked how well the seats fit us. Now, we just need to drive down to Millenium Z06's place, to check out the Braum seats in his car.
