Default Quickjack hydraulic connectors

Are stainless steel hydraulic quick connectors more reliable than the supplied aluminum ones as in easier to plug together? After three years of use at least two won't plug in enough to lock without a fight, and it's used only a few times a year. The dust caps are always in place during storage and releasing any stored pressure doesn't help. These aluminum connectors seem too cheap to last.

I've only had my quickjack a few months and have used it several times.
The connectors are hard to connect up alright but they seem pretty sturdy to me.
Call quickjack and ask them.
Good luck!

I called them and they filled out a ticket so it might be 24-48 hours to get a response.

Maybe after 3 years they have accumulated some dirt. Do a close inspection of them..maybe contact cleaner would be good as it leaves no residue. The tolerances are pretty tight.
