VIS hood like Predator's
I'm considering that hood for my dear Ovette, but the question is that `the standard lingo about hood pins being required seems as if it might just be lawyer repellent. Predators pics show no pins, so I'm wondering if anyone can say that the hood mounts on stock raisers and accepts stock top closure.

Don't know the hood but light
weight constructed hoods tend to
buckle and/or lift at high speed.
They usually are cheap made.

You'll get a plethora of answers to this question. A couple people have actually had hoods buckle or blow up at very high speeds, but my aftermarket fiberglass hood without pins has seen 120+ several times with no issues and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. I'll never try to chase higher speeds than that, so I'm not worried about anything in the territory that people have actually seen issues at.
