You are correct the base C6 wheels will NOT clear C6Z brakes.
You can run rear factoryC5Z wheels and they will clear on all four corners as USAZR1 stated. Most guys will run a 3mm spacer just for peace of mind. There are are a few options out there for wheel combo. I'm running 18's all the way around (Ace Slick Wheels) to clear my C6Z brakes, they essentially look like C6Z wheels, but the offset is better fitment for a C5 IMO.

C6Z brakes was one of the best mods I have done to my Z aside from the suspension. The car stops on a dime and is a night and day difference over factory brakes. Some pictures for inspiration.

Also the wheels you recommended I am assuming 18 for front and 19 for rear. Also what offset do you have on your wheels. My car is silver so going with the RED calipers and black wheels, i think that will give it a nice look. Currently my wheels are black and i get compliments on them
Not yet. My widebody plans have been put on hold for a while longer. Hopefully, I will get started on it again later this summer. Been giving my firearms hobby a lot of attention lately, and I keep spending too much on new builds. Need to recoup my play money.

Thanks for the compliment. No, those are 18" all the way around with 53mm offsets. These wheels do not require any form of a spacer.
Fronts are 18X9.5 and rears are 18X11, Your setup with red calipers should look good.

Love the yellow and the black, nice car. I thought doing silver to match my car color but silver calipers dont stand out so sticking with RED as they will compliment the black wheels
