I've mentioned this before....but I really wasn't crazy about the FRC style....as a matter of fact, I don't think I ever saw one until I saw mine at a dealership. Well, the rest is history. I traded my C4 for my 2000 FRC. Now I really like it and after having a C4 Coupe for 33 years, I really like the trunk feature. The 2000 FRC is not a Z06, but i feel a kinship to the Z06, and I guess I don't really need the extra performance goodies for the street. Plus, if I really want a go fast buzz, I've got a CBR1000rr....
Well I'll be odd man out. I had an 01 coupe and always thought the back hatch look odd but I liked it OK. Just bought an 03 Z06 because I love l the FRC look. Car is very tight and no wind noise/water leaks or squeeks at all. Lot of room in trunk area, has one large storage hole and two smaller ones in that area. Visibility is much better than the coupe so yea I like the FRC better. Also have a C7 GS coupe and I like the 03 Z better than it. Love all corvettes,

We all have known from day #1 that the C5 has a fat butt. IMO it just looks too big and out of proportion in the FRC style. To me, the best look is the convertible with the top down, followed by the coupe.
Back when the first info about the Z06 was circulating, it was being described as higher power C5, so I went down to the dealer only to be told it would be FRC only, so I left. Anyway, Chevrolet must have agreed with me - they did not make the same mistake again with the later models.
Sorry I forgot the ? at the end of the original post lol. Yes I was just curious what comments would come up. I love the Arnold gifs lol. I am new to the platform and just seeing how people feel about either style. They both look awesome so it's tough to really "hate" one or the other. Thanks for the comments.

When the C5 came out the only model style that attracted me to this new modern day vette was the C5 FRC/Z06, with the flat trunks, it’s kinda a kin-ship to the style of most of the earlier models that came before it.
