Thanks again, y'all. My wife actually talked me into the door hinges and I'm glad she did. It did make a difference at shows for sure. I've thought about taking them off now and then but the look has become the character of this car. Can't take them off just yet.
Which door hinges you have? I have the Dream Car Custom ones. I purchased them because you don't have to cut anything but they were a PITA to install.
With this pandemic stuff making people staying inside away from socializing and no car shows for me to attend to get videos, I thought I would just make a quick walk around video of my car. I know it's not the same without other cars there but I've had some friends ask where all the videos were. So I told them I'd come up with something to avoid anymore Grape withdrawls. It's just shy of 10 minutes so watch if you like.

I have the very same ones you have for the very same reason you stated. I can put the car back to factory without damaging the car at all. Didn't want to cut into my doors or fenders like the other kits make you do.

I got to replace all 4 door shocks before car shows start (who knows when that will start...if ever this year). There is so little space to get the nuts out, kind of a PITA too
Hope your show season isn't cut to short like mine was. I'm pretty much done until fall now. Changing those struts is kind of a pain for sure. I use to have to change them it seems like every 6 months. My last set has lasted over a year and a half now so I must have received a newer set when I bought those. Good luck with yours.

How is entering and exiting vs. the stock doors? I was just headed out the door to meet the guy in N.M. To buy the hinges. When my wife reminded me we are in lock down and she can beat a dead horse to death. So now he is shipping them.

They actually work like regular door hinges but only open about 3/4 of the way from the stock opening. Then when you have them open enough for the front of the inside door panel to clear the A-pillar you can then proceed to put the doors up. So personally, I didn't get them to make life easier to get in and out but to use at car shows. If you're planning on using them to make life eaiser for yourself then I think you're going to be disappointed. It's actually kind of difficult to put the door up after you open it far enough to clear the door panel while you're sitting in the seat, especially if the struts are a little worn and weak. I'm not sure how the other brands are but these aren't made for ease of use but for show only. That's just my personal opinion of this particular brand.
