I am a Retired Senior. Just charged my 2004 Corvette battery. Bought my auto used years ago. Have gone throughly service manuel and got 6 digit radio code numbers. Called GM radio Hotline # 1-800-537-5140 to retrieve the 4 number passcode but response number is Not In Service! Called several Dealers and they want to charge me anywhere from $60-$160 dollars. I will be pushing up daisies before I will PAY a dealer to just call GM and get me 4 numbers to open my radio pay for listening !!!! Can anyone out there Help me ?

There are numerous posts regarding locked radios and how to unlock them. Do a search and you'll probably find an answer before you're pushing up daisies.

Try 1-800 GMTRUCK
If that doesn't work take a look at this Thread for another solution.
When you solve this, I suggest you disable the locking feature right away. At this point, it only brings headaches.
Try this, pop in a cd. I had a C5 about 4-5 yrs ago and now am back in a Z06 and I think that is what I did if memory doesn't fail me. I have slept a few times since then but easy try, hope it works. Let us know if it does. Another post I saw last week where a guy called somewhere and for 20 bucks they told him what to do, google it.
Always when removing a battery have a 9 volt battery supply plugged in to your cigar lighter on your console of your car.It maintains computer and all settings of radio. I learned about this in 1980 when i had my El Camino super sport battery replaced at a sears store. Car ran like **** for a half an hour.. Call NAPA they can get you one.
Sorry, I have taken every suggestion given to me. No one knows how to open my 2004 corvette radio. I guess the Corona Virus has everyone at GM and Chevy tied up. Thanks for all your responses but it looks like I am going to bite the bullitt and pay the dealer a bunch of money to turn on a damn 2004 radio that cost more than the radio ! Pitiful !!!!!!! Thanks . however, for all you corvette people that have tried to help me: unfortunately, you do not know any more about setting my radio free than I do !!!
Try this, got same info from several sources so I assume it works but pretty elaborate method but give it a shot. Good luckProcedure:
01. Turn the ignition ON (The radio displays LOC)
02. Hold down the Radio Presets 2 and 3 buttons for six seconds
03. The radio display changes from LOC to a three-digit number. Write this number down. Don’t take forever, fifteen seconds max before the next step.
04. Press the AM/FM button
05. The radio display changes to another three-digit number. Write this number to the right of the first one.
06. You now have a six-digit number, the first three digits are from STEP 03 and the last three digits are form STEP 05
07. Call 1 800 537 5140
08. Press 1 then # (pound). You’ll hear “Invalid Code, try again”
09. Press 620529 then # (pound). You will be asked to enter your four or six digit code followed by * (star) [IF THE "620529" doesn't work, try 206053, 202107, 106010 or 202108.]
10. Enter the number from STEP 6 then * (star)
11. Listen to the four-digit number and write it down. It will be repeated twice
12. Turn the ignition ON (The radio displays LOC)
13. Use the MN and HR buttons to enter the code from STEP 11
14. Press the AM/FM button. The radio display changes to SEC
Your radio is now “un-locked” and usable. The Theft-Deterrent feature is STILL active! If you want to disable it, use the instruction on page 3-27 in your Y2K Owner’s manual. Use the code from STEP 11 instead of your personal code.

I'll be honest, your tone sucks towards those that are trying to help you.
You need to find someone near you with a Tech2, and do a VIN relearn function under body and accessories - module setup - radio - VIN relearn.
Are you in northern KY by chance? I can give it a shot with mine.
Sorry Cinci Z06, tone probably sucks, I will admit, just frustrated that these dealers want to charge to help an ole fart like me to turn on radio ! I have the 6 digit radio codes but the 1-800-537-5140 numbers is not in service ! Will try to be more positive in the future.

No worries. 99.9% of the members here are so helpful and eager to help fix things. I get being frustrated, especially with dealerships. If your anywhere near me I'm more than happy to give the VIN relearn a try for ya for the low low price of free ninety free.
Hopefully the tips above pan out for ya also.
Anyone living in Central Kentucky (Lexington, Ky ) that has TECH 2 analyzer ? Cannot open my radio on my 2004 Corvette. All info given me has not worked or been outdated. Is going to dealer and paying $$$ the only option in obtaining password to open my radio ? Thanks in advance !!!!!!!
