Good suggestion. I believe I still have one in the back from when the car was in storage and will definitely keep it. Carrying around a can is no inconvenience and I will just have it as a back-up....for my back-up or whatever.
I just do not know what is reputable amongst the fine folks here.
My Ferrari actually came with one from the factory which is no longer available but I understand the OEM Mopar kit is the same kit as what Ferrari currently uses so I will probably just get that for both cars.
First of all.....when was the last time you had a flat by running over something? Yup, I alwyas carried Slime.....dont care about the $40 pressure sensor (that they say will not be harmed by the Slime) the tow is probably more frightening :-)
Totally, I recently changed a tire on my Jeep on the side of the 405, Thrilling to say the least, then my Challenger about a week later.......what is it about LA ?!
At least those came with spares and I was at nobody’s mercy.
More than that, I would be concerned getting a flat somewhere in the desert at night or whatever....or a random place along the coast during a holiday/Sunday.
I like it. Hopefully it doesn't upset the balance too much. Good for minor flats, but something extensive, might not do the trick. AAA is your friend..
I'm assuming it would have to be cleaned off the wheel, when ready to change / repair the tire. Not sure how extensive this is, or if any tire place will do that for you for free..
