NEW Custom Interior!

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Your seats look amazing. I’m currently thinking of going a similar route after not finding an aftermarket seat that I liked. Well, I just don’t want to lose the power features nor do I want to cut up my car for c6 seatbelts.
can you comment on your size and how the seats fit in relation? The bolstering looks good, we’re you able to keep the bolster bladders and functionality?
The seats look fairly stock around the shoulder area. Are you happy with that, would you make any alterations there to help lock you in a little more?
Do you have any concerns about the seat belt out?
Thanks a million for your post. I’ve been thinking about going this route for a long time. Probably overthinking it, really.

The seat bottom bolsters fit fine, and are mostly for show at this point, because the seat back holds me in so well. Before, I would always brace myself by putting my left knee against the door. That's not at all necessary anymore.
The whole thing was completely customizeable. I picked the firmest foam (I told him I wanted the Recaro firm feel) and once he made the frame and mocked up the foam to the seat, I had to go there, sit in it, tell him what I liked or didn't like and he adjusted it on the spot. For instance, he gave me too much lumbar, so he sliced the foam and asked me to sit in it to see if it was better. We made several similar adjustments.
I then drove it a little and told him what else I wanted and he made the adjustments for me to try out. When I felt it was comfortable, he made the covers and the other seat to match.
It took about 4 days to make the frame the way I asked for (see the pics) and that's when I went to test it. The adjustments took about an hour from start to finish. He then finished the seats and I picked it up.
He has a million samples of leather and other materials; types of stitching; color combos; etc. He could do virtually anything you want, but I let him tell me what he thought would look best.
I modeled the style to the Bugatti seats I found:
He could've also made the stitching the same, with them starting out as small diamonds and then growing into straight lines, but because the Bugatti has bigger seats that have the stitching start higher, we thought it would look weird, so I opted for just diamond stitching.
Hope this helps.
