Default Magnesium Wheels

Not sure if this is allowed or not but I’m wondering what a set of magnesium wheels is worth. Getting new wheels, and will be looking to sell mine. The previous owner plastidipped them so I don’t know what imperfections might be underneath, but for the sake of the question assume condition is good.

Do a search for magnesium wheels in the C5 Parts for sale section. Here is one thread that popped up.

There's definitely a market for those wheels. I'm sure you're better off pealing tattered dip so you can better represent the wheels.

Yes, I would certainly do so before trying to sell them. Just curious what a set in good condition might go for.

I had my listed for $800 a few years back. They were in great shape. They sold I don't remember exactly what for.

I've seen asking prices kind of across the board. A set in excellent condition might go for $1000, but a set with lots of chips and curb rash might only bring in $300. The finish on the magnesium wheels is known to not be very durable, so the value seems to really depend on the condition of the finish.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve heard. Hoping that’s not the reason the previous owner dipped them.

Out here (long ways from SC) a nice, unscuffed set of 4 is worth about 2 grand. Considered VERY hard to find and worth BIG $$$$$$$!!

The condition of most N73 wheels I have found would make them worth at most $400.00. If I found a truly mint set, I would be in the $800-$1,000 range. The issue with N73 wheels is I have yet to heat of anyone being able to repair the chips in the finish and recolonization them to original condition.
