Stay away from Grundy...far far away. What they tell you and 'infer' will be covered is totally different than what the actual policy reads. And if you cancel right away (as I did...because the differences in what they say and what's in the policy), it will take MONTHS to get your money back, months.

I'm staying with NCM I had a great conversation with their agent. He answered all my concerns. Some of the things people told me about NCM aren't true. I know not everyone will like every insurance company for 1 reason or another but right now I can't say anything bad about NCM.

Because most, if not none of them offer an agreed replacement value with their coverage...if you don't care that will be getting probably less than $10K for a payout should you total the vehicle, then a non-collector's policy is fine...

For those that have modified their C5 and want to be protected financially, I fully understand the need to insure for a stated value. But owners like me that have not put $$$$$ into modifications and just enjoy the ride, the cheapest I can insure is my focus. If I could get a $1000 coll deductible, I would. As others have commented on, these are not rare cars. I would not own a rare car because it is rare I would likely not drive it. Each to their own but for me, it is just a car and I enjoy the moment of ownership by driving it and not worrying about the car being totaled.
