A performance shop in my area is currently running this cam package deal. Looking for others opinion on this. I would also be buying BTR trunnion upgrade. Is this actually a “deal”? Anything else I should look to
upgrade while I’m in there? Currently have a Varram, Kooks long tubes that will be installed at the same time and a Corsa extreme already on. I know it’s hard to say but any ideas what kind of gains I would see from this? Thanks in advance.
I've seen less expensive packages, but it's not a ripoff. If you still have the stock clutch, it'll be next. I would suggest the BTR2 (I think) that's 227-234@113 for an easy going cam that'll give you a nice bump.
Yeah splurge for the ATI underdrive dampener, otherwise looks great.
Lots of options on custom cam specs, talk to the Tuner about your goals, can compare it to BTR Stage I, II, III
I’m starting to think this might be the best choice.
I would still think about the headers, valve springs, pushrods, trunnions and a balancer with a SC install. And with all of that and since you're right there...a baby blower cam. You'll still need that clutch... The madness
Yeah I say go do the cam and valvetrain 1st, but use a blower cam. Then later on when you can afford, actually do the blower. This will keep required boost down at the minimal level for your power goals.
yours sounds pretty good to me
i just got my quote
i know it's probably not that bad but...

That's a lot, but it's also a lot of parts and work to be done. I didn't go through and try to estimate it though, lol. It's def going to be beast, esp with that Stage III cam with all the other supporting parts, will like to rev high and strong..
