Are GM part numbers 10401040 and 10422621 interchangable for a 1998 convertable?

Not sure, but I have a 10422621 if you"re interested. Came out of my 99 cpe.

Your car has to have the keyless option for that slider switch to work, I believe.

Does it have a 'slide' switch for off and on? If so, yes; if not, no. But whether the fob is switchable or not, the car has to have that type of receive.
