Aesthetics wise I'm liking this much better than the C5 wheel. My mechanic just finished it up, big shout out to Texas Speed and Performance of Dallas for squeezing me in. No airbag light, but he did have to drill a 5/16 hole on the wheel right above where the removal tool goes so the horn contacts would work. Might have to get a new overlay or center cap to get rid of the C6 Jake.
Looks good, 4spd. On a scale of 1-10, how much work was the install?
Thanks buddy, mechanic said it was about average for any steering wheel install, but had to fight with the stock one for a bit to get it off. Since the C6 one had been modified to fit, it worked fairly well other than drilling the 5/16ths hole for the horn connect. Also the C6 steering wheel is apparently part magnesium which he found out when he began drilling and powdered materials started flying around from it.
Is this a Chevy Express van airbag fitted into a C6 wheel?
Looks great, wish I was in Texas...
Thank you. I bought the steering wheel modified in the classifieds section. The seller pulled it off their car as they were going back to stock. Not sure which airbag it is.

Thanks. No airbag lights no fuses disconnected. I'm not entirely sure if the airbag is functional, but I'm not about to find out.
Looks great! Welcome to the C6 steering wheel club! I successfully installed a C6 wheel in my C5 Z06 several months ago. If anyone is interested in tackling this job themselves, check out my thread here.
