Default Many Bugs Died Today

Made another escape out on the road (did keep my social distance).

Truckee to Bishop Ca, with detours through June Lake, Wellington Nv, Smith Valley Nv, Mason Nv. and back home. Roads are not as empty as they were last week.

Mark.

I use Rejex on my Corvette. Those bugs just wash off with a wet cloth, very easily.

What do you use to clean the bugs out of those screens?

Did you take 182 / 338 from Bridgeport to Smith? That's a great road with very little traffic and you can have some fun!

Off 395 S at Topaz on to 208 E to 182 S to Bridgeport, back on 395 S to June Lake loop back on to 395 S to Bishop. then on the return going north 395 Non to 208 E to 339 N to the 50 junction. Great drive, rotten burger at J box in Bishop.

To remove the bugs; I soak with detailer first, wipe off, then wash all the car (in garage), and a light waxing. On long trips when I know bugs are going to be plentiful, I'll use cling wrap across the front and then just lift off the bugs.

Those bugs gave their lives for a noble cause - a fun cruise by you. Had to feel good getting the car out and stretching her legs.

An everyday occurance in SW Louisiana during the Love Bug season happening at present. 15 minutes of clean windshield and nose of car everyday till the little creatures go back in the ground till September. Yes, we get them twice a year.

My Grand Father lived in Newcastle for 50 years. Love that part of CA up to Tahoe and Reno. Beautiful area. Always dig your pictures.

Would love to drive my Vette down there someday. We no longer have in family in the area though so it would be one helluva joy ride.

Same here Kmcoldcars. I've been using Rejex for close to 19yrs now on the C5 convertible. Love the product as the bugs just wipe clean with a wet cloth. Deep shine also which last far longer than most polishes

Yep, 90 degrees and sunny today in SW Florida. Our "Lunch Bunch" Harley group took a ride over to Clewiston, FL. We ate at Roland & Martin's on the water. Man, did I get sunburned!! We haven't seen a winter in all 8 years of retirement.

Here in Florida when they come 2x a year the Vette doesn’t move till it’s over. Nor does the boat. 🤙
