Default Wheel Speed Sensors'

Replaced my Shocks and Brakes
Needed New Front Tires so...
I Replaced Them, the Tires I Had on Were 245/30/19's
I Wanted a Little More Tire so Put on 245/35/19's
Now I'm Getting the 32 and 33 Codes (Front Right/Left Wheel Speed Sensor's)
and 48 Code (ABS)
Is This Due to the Increase in Tire Size (30 to 35 isn't that much, is it?)
Is it OK to Drive it?
How/What Do I Do to Correct/Clear it?

what sizes are your rear tires?... 30 to 35 series doesn't sound like much but it's actually an inch difference in overall diameter

The Rears are 295/30/20's
I wan't to Increase them to 35's also (next time I replace them)
will that even them out?
I'm not getting any codes for the rears

ok the rears are 1.2" larger so you should be fine in that regard... did you verify the sensors weren't accidentally left unplugged after installing the new parts?

I would guess the ABS code 48 is due directly to the other two codes. I would physically check the front speed sensors

Check the wheel speed sensor connectors and wiring. It may be helpful to disassemble and clean all wheel speed sensor connectors and coat all contacts with dielectric grease. I did that almost ten years ago.

With careful inspection you may also find broken or grounded wiring to the wheel speed sensors.

The wheel speed sensors themselves are robust, simple devices not prone to trouble, but the wiring can be troublesome because it is exposed to debris impact and ham handed mechanics.

Thanks for the tip
they were fine before I replaced my shocks and brakes
i'll check and clean everything, hoping I just forgot to hook them back up or didn't get the connectors seated
dielectric grease should help as well

Finally got a chance to check the connectors
Nothing broken or grounded
Everything looks good
I cleaned both sides of the connectors and used dielectric grease
I cleaned and checked the connections at the wheel and the next connection back (on the frame)
Ensured all connections were secure
I took it for a drive up the road and what do ya' know
still getting the same codes
the only thing I have done different (before getting the codes)
is I cleaned the grounds
could that have anything to do with it
I guess next just to be sure I'll reclean and secure the grounds

one more thing...
I sent out my ebcm to ABS Fixer where he checked it
"No codes found in history. Discovered signs of power supply fault. Repaired power supply. Installed surge suppressor. Tested. RESET. All OK."
Should I remove the ebcm and then reinstall it
could something not have lined up properly

yeah, be careful with all connector pin alignment.
we replaced a rear axle last year, and simply unplugging & reconnecting it was enough to hurt it's little snowflake feelings.
took the connector apart, cleaned, reassembled, & replugged - worked fine after.

pulled the plugs on the ebcm
didn't feel real secure (could have been me wishful thinking)
anyway cleaned all connections, dielectric grease and reinstalled
made sure they were both secure
to late to take it off blocks tonight
hopefully this fixes the problem
reinstalled the thing-a-ma-jigger
