Ok guys, how hard is it to replace the weather stripping on top of both my doors?? leaking at the top Or do I need to take it to a body shop?? I have an 2004 Convertible. And where is best place to buy it??
Many threads on this.
Good news is you may not have to replace it. There is a window tip in adjustment and you can service the rubber with dielectric grease.
Relace them if you want, but you can search for the many threads on this and it may solve your problem.
If there are no visible cracks condition the seals and give it some time, helped a lot with mine. Window tip in can help a little. Got mine down to a small leak at car wash pressures on the passenger side at the front corner of the roof panel. Anything with a removable top or T-tops is going to have an occasional leak.
