I found a good deal on some c6z repros they are 18x10 front 18x12 rear they have new tires on them which confuse me they are 245/40 up front and 285/35 rear which seems way to narrow for that wheel size and possibly too tall. Ill include a pic
Are they gonna even fit my c5? Even if they fit is it gonna look like a moster truck? Does the tire size for those wheels seem really odd or is it just me?
A 245/40/18 is 25.7" tall and a 285/35/18 is 25.9". Nothing wrong with those tire diameters, on a C5. I would be more concerned with those tire widths, first, as they are kinda stretched on those wheel widths,
That 285 is REALLY narrow for a 12" width, and the 245 is no better on the front width.
Seeing them on an F-Body........I'd question the C5 fitment. If you can, trial fit them before you buy. They may not have the right offset for the C5, especially being repro's.

Ya, thats the part I found oddest as well why the wide wheels and skinny tires.
If that's the wheels I doubt the rears are 12 wide. They would be sticking out way more on that car. Not sure if you have heard of a company DSE, they have a badass Gen 3 Camaro with 18x11 on the rear and the car has been mini tubed and the quarters worked to get the wheels to tuck under the car. That car has none of that. So Im going to go out on a limb here and say no way for the claim on the rear wheel sizes

I had that thought too. Might just go check them out in person and see what they are exactly.
