Pipe NOT Pile, it would not let me edit the title for some reason....
Well, I could not take it any longer. The jingle in my exhaust on my new Z was making me crazy. I went down to Kinney's Muffler Shop in Bedford TX. and had them weld me in a nice Magnaflow X-pipe for 200 bucks total. They are the ones that installed my last X-pipe along with a Corsa exhaust on my 00 HT. They do outstanding work! It was well worth it. The jingle is gone and maybe I picked up a couple of HP as well. The car does sound a little different even though I have a stock exhaust. It was a win/win.....

Congrats, Anthony. I have the jingle too. I have only had the car a month and noticed it right away. I think it may be getting louder or that it is just starting to bother me more or I am more in tune with it.. Did you try any warranty claims on it? If so, I guess they didn't fix it as you had to take matters into your own hands. Anyway, mine still doesn't bother me that much but if it gets louder it surely will. Again, congrats.
Anthony, thanks for the info. Seems from past post on the CF that this will be the only solution to resolve the Jingle. Will be my next mod in the spring.
Not sure I know what the jingle sound is.... I have noticed that the Z06 exhaust crackles and pops, but I love that. Jingle makes me think of Rudolph the red nosed raindeer

Lower both windows, turn off the AC and drive it around your neighborhood at slow to medium speed. It won't be long before you hear Rudolph....
Personally, I don't mind it, because I like the sound of the stock exhaust so much. If they had to have the jingle in order to make it sound so good (inside and outside the car) then, so be it. I think the stock sound is perfect, and anything that makes it different in any way is not going on my car.
