So I've decided to upgrade by EOM reverse lights to LED. However, I'm seeing several different bulbs out there. I wanted to get opinions on what you guys think is the best reverse light LED bulb. Do you have suggestions on where I can get them for the best price? Thanks!
I put in the Sylvania ZEVO LED bulbs. They were $23 for both of them at Autozone. They have reflectors so they work like normal bulbs in your housings. Much brighter and they are dual circuit so they work with your courtesy lighting. I also swapped the housings out to the clear style reflectors. Good combo.

Are these dual circuit as well? I know cree LEDs tend to be brighter, but I also want the functionality of a dual circuit bulb. If they are, I'll place an order with you as soon as I get your reply.

Yes, the reverse light is a 1157 bulb (dual circuit)

Order placed! Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I'm happy that I was able to help support one of our forum vendors. Especially since that same vendor just gave us $100.00 off the best ACA style headlights on the market.
Yes Dual filament bulb but there is only one contact in the socket so it only uses one of the filaments. 1999 Owners manual lists the correct bulb as a 2057.
It has a 27watt filament and the other is a 7 watt filament. If you put the bulb in the socket with the wrong low wattage contact making contact in the socket the bulb will be dim as hell. You need to turn the bulb around in the socket so the high wattage filament is being used. I know it sounds crazy but I just put bulbs in my reverse sockets and that is the way it is in my 1999. Remember, the reverse lights only come on in reverse and when the fob turns on the approach lights. So there is no need for a dual filament bulb but that is what the owners manual lists.
I wanted to give a big shout out George from sharp light innovations (TheRadioFlyer). The reverse light LED bulbs that they sell are clearly designed specifically for our cars. instead of just shooting light straight out or in a ring around the bulb, the Cree LEDs are angled to shine directly on the stock reflector. Although I did run into an issue with my order(that was not his fault), George's customer service is absolutely phenomenal!! He has made the situation right. I would definitely do business with him again in the future. I highly recommend Sharp Light Innovations for any C5 owner looking to update the lighting on their car. THANKS GEORGE!!!
Not disagreeing with anything here, but the best improvement you can make to your back up lights is to swap to a clear glass/decent reflector rear unit, like the Adjure. I run mine with 28w bulbs from Candlepower and it is radically better than stock. I also adjusted the angle of mine so it does not aim up in the air, but pretty much straight behind.

I lucked out and found a very nice lightly used one for about $60. I have bright bulbs, not sure if they are from George or Sylvania Zevo’s, but you don’t want to stare at them.

Bought my Adjure from Amazon a few years back, $75 new. I used to work near Candlepower, so I dropped by and got bulbs.
This Adjure assembly plus LEDs makes the rear of the car look much more modern and the lighting is very, very , very bright. And it's free Prime shipping.
