wheels from other models

looking at picking up some new wheels for a drag setup and was wondering if we could run wheels from any other platform? any other platform share the offset and such of a c5?

17x11 won't poke out past factory fenders? Seems pretty wide.

Width isn't the problem, offset is. An 11" width wheel will easily fit inside a C5's rear fenderwells. A +36 offset will poke a lot, a +50 around 1/4".

Any place that sells C5 replica wheels probably also sells C4 five spokes, in a GS offset. OE Wheels sells them.

Will a 315/35/17 tire fit the car without issue? I'm trying to stick with a mickey thompson and the only 26" would be 315/35 or a 275/40.

Unless you think I'd be okay going to a 28" tire. I'm on a 3.42 gear and in the area of 800whp (never dynoed).

Appreciate the help.
