Default millennium yellow

So I have kind of ask this same question before. But want to revisit it. Some days I think the yellow needs something to break it up a bit. Have trackspec hood vents I'm getting ready to install. But was thinking about either painting the hood, Halo and deck lid in satin black or wrapping in carbon fiber. Anyone have pictures they could share of something like this? I'm about a minute away from painting the whole car a different color.

Like you I thought it needed something to break up the MY. So I wrapped the roof, rear fascia, mirrors, and did a couple hash marks in a carbon fiber wrap.

Carbon fiber wrap looks obviously fake no matter what you do.

I wrapped the halo in black (I replied to your post on the Facebook group) and that was enough to me. My car has a transparent roof, so it already appears black.

I agree. It's on my wish list but haven't found ones I like yet. I want black chrome with a yellow ring. So, the search goes on.

Yeah. I hear ya. on the carbon fiber wrap. But the top picture of the hood and nose is just so much yellow. Other colors don't bother me as much as the yellow does for some reason.

I did smoked signal lights up front and it helped, too.

But I love loud and ridiculous colors, so the yellow is right up my alley haha

The reason they all tend to look alike is because other than Black, few colors blend well with Millenium Yellow. Two colors that blend and contrast very well with MY, is different variations of the Silver or Gray spectrum.

Yes I will agree. Thats one of the reasons I'm on the fence about painting it. Once you build custom cars fior a living its hard to keep anything stock. But I did pretty good. 2 years is like an eternity for me.

I owned & managed a custom car/bike/aircraft business, from 1979-2006, so "stock" and me take a little forcing together. lol

Why not just put on some stripes that came on the ‘04 CE, only in black. You could just do the hood if you like.

Super interested in seeing it with the bronze wheels. I've been looking at yellow/bronze for months but just not sure I can pull it off haha Not many good photos out there.

Yeah, and all the modeling I can muster in Forza Horizon 4 just isn't conclusive enough for me.
