As we reflect on the race that ain't happening - enjoyed this look back at the pace cars - and the drivers too!

C5's paced in '98, 02, and '04 - was any other generation this well-represented?

Thanks for posting. Very cool history at the Indy 500.
I designed the graphics for the 1973 Hurst Olds Pace Car.
Here is a oil painting I did of the start of the 1955 Indy 500 with Bill "Vuki" Vukovich. He was the defending champion and was killed in an accident that day. Also the last year of the wooden pagoda.....

Very cool painting. The history of the pace car is also cool to look at. Thanks for sharing.
