Transmission Temp Gauge
I know the Z06 has a temp. sensing unit on the manual transmission but cannot find where it is displayed on DIC. Looked through manual and the different panels on the DIC and didn't see it anywhere. I must be missing it somehow. Where is it, thanks. Happy Memorial Day to all, be well.

There isn’t a setting to have the temp visible. It only gives you a warning message when the temps get too high.
I’d be more concerned with the engine oil and the lack of a cooler. In the mountains my oil temp got to 249 before we stopped at a rest area and I let the car idle to shed the heat via the coolant.

good evening gentlemen. I was running my C7 Z06 hard Saturday and my oil temp got way up as well, I notice when I have the novistrecth bra on front and I drive the car hard the temp be high.
I assume its not getting enough air at high speed to cool the oil fluids down, just wanted everyone to know that if you have the bra on front it will make it run a high temp.
Do you think I need to get the fluid out if it was scorch?
