Default Glowing LED emblem

Does anyone have one of these? I searched but didn't see anything like it.

I picked up one in white (they have red too) but won't be putting it on until I can make some changes to the car.

That's actually kind of cool. I'd like to see it as installed on a car before passing full judgment.

The only down side is having to drill a hole ( for the wires ) in your car.

The LED base is held on with stick tape. Surely you could run the wires through the holes that are already in the bumper for the alignment pins of the OE emblem.

I'd like to see it in a bigger pic to determine the actual size. I might add it to the interior instead. OR if it was big enough you could replace the door reflectors.

^ A stock-size regular C5 emblem is overlaid on a slightly larger lighted base.

So it's as big as your factory emblems

And yes, you drill a hole for wiring (if not going on front nose) but the hole gets covered by the emblem itself.

Also, the hole needed would be really small because they didn't clip on the wire connectors which is awesome.

Could look pretty cool. Would like to see pics once you install them, especially nightime shots where the would really show up.

I'm in the middle of another project but I was able to get the base unit wired up.

Here's how it looks with approach lights

I'll have better pics when it's all finished

That looks cool, but can you drive with it lit or is it only for car shows and what not?

I'm pretty sure the cops would frown upon seeing one of these lit up going down the road. If it's red or blue, expect to get pulled over. I was thinking about doing some for car shows but would be on a switch.
