Default gas cap question

I was going to buy a locking gas cap for my 02 Z06. There were two choices, vented and non-vented. Which one is it? Thanks for the help.

I am a parts retailer. Nobody at the store knows. The parts list doesn't specify. It just gives the item number for each type. I'll go check my owner's manual.

The manual was no help at all. It said if you need a new cap, be sure to get the right type. Your dealer can get one for you.

For environmental reasons all gas caps from 1972 and up are non-vented. The C5 has a fuel evap system and a fuel tank vent hose to manage in tank fuel fumes and to allow air into the tank.

Why would you want to lock your gas cap, you have door release to open, and can't stick hose in the gas tank to suckout the gas.
