I am trying to replace a radiator in a 2002 corvette... the Spectra that is specified has 3/8 flare for the transmission cooling lines, but the lines on this vette are larger, and will not screw into the ports...
are there adapters that I junked with the old radiator?
Do I need to remove the threaded sleeve from the radiator - as this seems to be the size I actually need?
Thanks for any help

That radiator bung without the brass fitting in it looks like it takes a flaired tube to seal. That brass fitting that screws into that also looks like it has a flaired end to seal in the bung. Does your tranny line have a flair on it at all? I can't really see inside that tube fitting but from what's sticking out of the nut it doesn't look like it does. It does look like it would screw into the fitting without that brass part though but not sure if it will seal. I assume it didn't come with any instructions, right?
