I’ve read a bunch of threads concerning the fact that the exhaust gaskets are a dealer-only item, and the O’Rilley has a close match, but I don’t have an O’Rilley near me. I went to the local auto parts store and spent some time rummaging in the gasket box and found this Walker gasket
The center hole is 2-1/2”. The distance from the inner-edge of the bolt holes on the gasket is 3.415”. The distance form the inner edge of the bolt holes on the flange is 3.265”. So less than 1/8” too small, or less than 1/16” per side. I think this will work fine, and they were $3.75/ea.
Thanks for the lead. I'm going to put on ZO6 Titanium Muffler this weekend on my 97 c5 base. Where can i get the bolts to the muffler? I'm not sure mine is reuseable or may snap during removal.
Bolts can be found at just about any hardware or DIY store. There is nothing special about them just be sure to get no less than a grade 5. Stainless steel would be even better because they will never rust. If you do use stainless steel be sure to coat the threads with antiseize to prevent the threads from galling up. The gasket should be a Walker #31537 and is available through RockAuto for $3.39.

I am sure your bolts will be fine. The exhaust just doesn't get that hot in the rear portion as say the exhaust manifold bolts. When you reinstall them use a TINY amount of anti-seize on them as well. It's a scientific mystery as to why anti-seize travels to every object and appendage within a 50 foot radius of its application.
