Default 2 mph

So I finally got the Vette to the dragstrip last night. I went to Bandimere Raceway here in the Denver area. Bandimere is at an altitude of 5,800 feet.

My C5 is basically stock. The only mods it has are a Blackwing intake and a Z06 titanium axle-back exhaust. I made 4 runs that ranged between 14.886 and 14.635. The highest speed I hit was 98.05 MPH and the lowest was 96.71 MPH. Since I can't afford expensive mods, I'm looking for advice on something I can do to get the extra 2 MPH to break 100 MPH. After that, the next goal will be 13.99.

I'd like to stay below $350 to get to 100. What kinds of mods will get me there?

Thanks!

For what you want, try a handheld tuner and some race gas.

^ Yep. I'd do that. He's well known and respected around these parts.

Easiest way to get 2 mph would be to go to a track with a lower altitude.

race gas isn't going to do anything, maybe look into reducing weight

At least this is good news. When I saw the title I was thinking you had a failure and hit the 2 MPH fuel cutoff!!!

Like others said, reduce weight (free) or get stickier rear tires (not that you can do that for $350)
I'm not sure if ECS does mail order tunes anymore
