Default Exhaust Question

I have an ‘02 coupe MN6. It has a cold air intake, Borla X pipe and the muffler ‘bypass’ has been completed on stock exhaust. The tone is great at idle, no drone on the highway, but it’s still pretty quiet under hard acceleration. I’d like a LITTLE more tone during acceleration but NO drone so I can enjoy longer trips. It’s not a track car. It’s a cruiser .... and I’m 67. I’d like to hear from others that have either the Touring or S setup. Is touring too tame? S too loud for a ‘senior’ and his wife? Ha!

I put on the Borla S -Type Classic recently and made a video and post about it. Check it out if you want.

Frankly, I think the Touring exhaust will be too quiet for you. I recommend the S-Type II (louder than the Touring but quieter than the S-Type I). I have the S-Type II on one of my 2000 C5s. No drone, nice tone under acceleration, but not too aggressive. I drove my comfortably car on a 4400 mile, 9 state trip. In case you are wondering, I am age 56.

I agree the touring is a bit too quiet. Go the next step up.

I’m leaning toward either Corsa Sport or Borla S ll. I hear Corsa is a little higher tone (which I think I like). Has anyone had, or driven both? How is highway drone? Both are supposed to be good. Is one better than the other? How about acceleration sound? Wish I could experience them both but that probably won’t happen.
