My C5 was a DD but then I sold my pickup and bought a new DD. Now the C5 has to take on some of the F150 duties and it does great.
Over the weekend I was able to take all the recycling to the dump and then run to Home Depot and grab 100ft of CPVC pipe. Fill the back with cardboard and a 30 gallon tote in the front.
Some of you will hate on me, but whatever. Love this car.
I fit a full-suspension MTB in the back of my FRC no less
drove into the mtb park, the guard was like 'where's the bike?"
in the trunk
she looked a bit mystified but let me in
My coupe has done a lot of Home Depot and Lowes runs. 8' studs are no problem - just slide them down between the seats and into the passenger footwell. Max length it can handle is around 9'. When collecting CPVC pipe and similar, I take my pipe cutter as they come in 10' lengths, so I chop them down to fit. Always fun to see people's faces when you start loading lumber and plumbing gear into a Vette.

I was thinking about cutting them but then decided to use the flexibility advantage of CPVC. Can't do that with a 2x4. My next trick will be to see how many bags of mulch I can handle, maybe topsoil!
Yes.
You can't see them in this picture but when we shaped the subwoofer enclosure, we has to put dimples in the side so the top would have clearance to be able to be stored.

Well then that's a win in my book. I went with a box specifically sized so I could put it only in the front area ahead of the top stands and leave the storage.... but I won't give up my loud. I refuse. lol
I once hauled 3 fifty pound bags of Hog Grower and Finisher pellets in the trunk of my convertible. The guys at the feed store refused to load it so I had to do it myself.
